He can use the time to make covert manipulations. He can try to divide the parties, he can even use the army again.

The constitution doesn't give the king such sweeping powers. By reviving the house on his own he signals he still has absolute power to make and unmake such stupendous decisions on his own.

He has two choices. One, come to an understanding with political parties accepting the role of a constitutional monarch. Two, go totally repressive as a dictator and risk the monarchy's future in the long run.

The king's move meets one important aspect - the end of autocratic rule. Why are the parties not accepting? I think they are a bit scared of the crowd because they are not in direct communication with the crowd.

In the second half of life, people have less power to infatuate you. But they also have much less power to control you or hurt you.

There is no such thing as several Romanias, but only politicians who divide Romania depending on the interests of their parties and their clout.
