He has a quiet disposition to begin with. In the early years, I used to try to get him to talk about his experiences over there, but eventually I just let him keep the memories to himself.

It took me a long time to get Kenneth to eat soup. I had to start out with stews and chowders because the very thought of soup sickened him.

He was very quiet, we would get on him a lot about yelling more and being more vocal (early in the season). Early on he really didn't want to say much. He knew the right answer, but he was scared to say it because he felt like if it was the wrong answer than he'd get yelled at, but he did a good job. He started getting more vocal towards the end, and this year he's started off being a field leader.

I'm an early bird, partly because I like to have some quiet time and partly because by 9am emails begin arriving, the phone starts ringing and I have dragons to kill of one sort or another.
