He is a fantastic role model who demands excellence and accountability from the student-athletes in his program. I'm appreciative of the seven years I've had the opportunity to work with Steve.

The future of this group of athletes is very bright. They are very dedicated and committed to excellence on the field and in the classroom. We should have an exciting 2006 season.

We have some really quality athletes, but our depth hasn't been what it was in the past.

The fact that these obviously talented athletes have not made it to the next round shows that Australian women's basketball is in the enviable position of having an amazing depth of talent at present.

I really feel that each one of them represent themselves very well, along with the University. They continue to be very good role models for up-and-coming female athletes.

I am excited about the opportunity to work with Anderson as the head football coach. Anderson is an excellent role model for our young men and leads by example. I am confident that his knowledge and enthusiasm that he bring to the program will take the Beavers to the next level.
