He is a very charismatic guy. He has worked very hard fighting for our shared democratic values. His presence will be missed.

He had and still has unanimous support among the Democratic State Committee. He didn't reference (the contributions) in his decision. But I think the bigger picture here is that his decision is the right decision for him personally and the right decision for the Maine Democratic Party.
