He used to let me bring his ring to school and show it to my friends. I couldn't wear it on my finger because it was too big.

They showed a lot of interest early. Some other colleges were pushing me off and waiting it out. This school took a chance on me.

They're talking now about waiting until '07.

I don't know what we're going to do yet. We should know Monday after (noon) dinner when the mayor and I are supposed to talk with Byron Pierce and John Bryant. Right now, they have only two teams, so I'm not going to tie up with them if they're not going to have a league in '06.

My kids are at the age now where they are both in school.
