He was arrested in Borno state, at the Cameroon border, in the early hours of this morning. He's in the custody of security agencies in Borno.

Charles Taylor, the former president of Liberia, was arrested this morning at the Nigeria Cameroon border. He was arrested in company of a driver and a woman and they have been taken into custody.

While they (Briton and American) are having a drink ... they were kidnapped ... and taken a way.

So far, 82 persons have been arrested and detained. Their offences include arson, grievous assault on census officials and unlawful possession of firearms.

The police moved in, shot at the (kidnappers') vehicle. They killed the driver of the vehicle but the kidnappers dropped the dead body and went away.

He's in the custody of security agencies in Borno.
