He was somewhat emotional. It's a tough situation, and that's one of the reasons I played him a lot. I thought it was better for him to be occupied than to just sit and think.

He's had some other things from a mental standpoint. When you're dealing with that type of situation, it's got to affect you from a mental standpoint.

He should be OK, but we felt he'll take enough hits on Thursday. He could have played if we needed him.
