He was trying to do too much too quick when he got in there. We told the kids at halftime that going into the fourth quarter, we wanted that lead cut in half. We did better than that.

About a year ago there was a story of a guy trying to pick up kids around here.

It's frustrating for our kids. Our kids are trying hard and working hard. [Chesterton] made plays when they had to.

Some of the younger kids are nervous and the older kids are trying to lead them the right way. Every season is exciting because of the different personalities. Hopefully we'll find our way and find what we do best.

We ask the kids, what's your job? What's your role? What are you trying to do? The girls are buying into that. Every game our defenders know who they have and what they are going to do and how we need to play them. When our midfielders play certain teams they know exactly what they need to do. ... We just talk about who on our team can make plays and how can we get (the ball) to them.

We just have a lot of kids out. We're trying to work them all and give them all a chance.
