I rescued Katie, a black Labrador retriever from West Union, Ohio and at about the same time my husband had a bundle of fur he named Bear show up at his apartment door. Bear is part Labrador.

Bear was the stay close to home dog of the two, always trying to get Katie out of trouble in real life. If Katie was doing something wrong, Bear would go bring her home. When Bear passed away, Katie was never the same. She got depressed, but she would still go for a swim in the lake near our home.

I saw some good signs that we can be a good running team. Who knows? If we hit some home runs, we could be a great running team.

I remember watching that national championship game (against Kansas) at my home. He was running the team then like he's running it now. To guard him is an honor.
