Hear the birds? Sometimes I like to pretend that I'm deaf and I try to imagine what it's like not to be able to hear them. It's not that bad.

The analogy I like is this: imagine being able to see the world but you are deaf, and then suddenly someone gives you the ability to hear things as well - you get an extra dimension of perception,

I try not to do bad, but sometimes it's irresistible.

Hear, ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see.

Sometimes when I travel, I like to close my eyes and imagine visiting during another era.

Those that rule must hear and be deaf, must see and be blind.
