Here, the Hawaiian community has a long history and a long heritage. We need to preserve that.

Stakeholders are the people that build the community ... that inspire the community ... that serve the community.

The problems and issues are not too much different from the rest of the country. This group is concerned and passionate about the issues.

UTC has had a long history of involvement in the revitalization of this community, and has worked with a number of community partners toward that end.

What I'm looking to do is get the community involved and see their family's history preserved here.

These buildings are the history of the community and they represent the human history of the community, ... There is just so much going on in Old South Baton Rouge that the rest of the community doesn't appreciate, and it's because they don't know.
