Here we go! Cold air begins to pour out of the Gorge... tonight.

Wind chill temperatures will hover near or below zero most of the day and tonight.

Temperatures will begin to moderate on Sunday. By Wednesday of next week, we might even see a rain shower or two.

Temperatures will drop another five to 10 degrees over the next 24 hours. Winds will pick up and race through the Gorge. Gusts at the west end might reach 50 mph. Wind chill temperatures will drop to dangerous levels, -10 to -20 degree levels.

A blizzard warning is in effect for all of the Oregon Cascades and the southwest Washington Cascades now until Thursday morning. It's the first blizzard warning of the winter.
