Here's my feeling. If he wins the Heisman Trophy, that probably means we win the national championship. So sign me up.

When you have guys who are involved in national championship teams that are as well-respected as Pete I think the fact that of the people around him want to give him his just due is justifiably so.

They're perky, they're not nervous, which is always a good sign. You're always worried about them getting a little too intense with the magnitude of the game, but they're not. I don't know how that plays out in the game, but I'd rather they be loose than nervous.

We didn't deserve to win. If we were to deserve to win, I'd feel worse.

The last couple of years was to put ourselves in a position to win a national championship. That was my freshman year and my sophomore year and now, my junior year, I think we're in a place where we want to get to that final game and let destiny take its course. That's what our team sees happening.

The first two years were rough, and this year's better. But we still are working to win a national championship. Hopefully that's somewhere in the future.
