A community is a group of people who have come together, and they work and they live to try and improve the standard of living and quality of life - and I don't mean money.

The North Carolina Medical Society Foundation is very proud of the work of the Community Practitioner Program in addressing the issue of access to health care for vulnerable North Carolinians. Since its inception, the program has become an integral part of the safety net in our state.

When Covert became a community, you had different people coming in, and, today you have different people coming in. History's really repeating itself right now.

A lot of our community does business in both those communities, especially the food processing plants. A lot of them have corporate offices in Boise, the PUD, for example, in Portland. We have found that Portland and Boise have been really good for this community.

It's a recruitment pitch, it's a call to arms, it's telling the Muslim community to get more active.
