He could kill me in a second, and I know that. But at the same time, bears are very social animals. They will stay with mother until 3 years old. They want to have that relationship with those who raised them. We don't have to be heavy-handed with them. That will develop an aggression we don't want to have to deal with. It's all bonding and reward and his desire to please the ones he really loves.

I have a relationship with the bear, and it's a relationship of mutual respect. To be afraid of him or him to be afraid of me would never work.

One thing can happen, but another can fight it. Don't think it's impossible unless you've tried it.

Life is a burden, not everyone knows that. You should be glad you are alive to witness our changes.
