He's now not seen as the same Schwarzenegger who won the recall (election) and was so successful last year. He is either seen as a partisan, or insensitive about ordinary people.

Schwarzenegger is clearly annoyed as he asked that the president not come until after the election because he did not want to compete for cash.

Not that I recall.

For me, 1995 was a special year, not only because I won but because it was Arnold Palmer's last Open and this year it's Jack's. It's very emotional for many players.

But in an American election, there are no losers, because whether or not our candidates are successful, the next morning we all wake up as Americans. And that -- that is the greatest privilege and the most remarkable good fortune that can come to us on earth.
