He's really got a short fuse. And when he doesn't do well, he gets [angry]. It's something he'll learn, I think, to be a little bit better about.

Every once in a while he tweaks it and then he gets some relief, ... It hasn't been unrelenting. He'll make a move and all of a sudden jolt it.

If Wally gets excited and gives him an inch, ... it's going to be two or three inches.

That was vintage Carpenter. He had first and second, the middle of the lineup, and he gets out of it. That's what he does.

What's different about this club, when you have this many setbacks, it's usually part of why you don't win or you barely squeeze by in the last week of the season with a good but not great record. To have this kind of run and play this quality of baseball for this long is why this club deserves a very different kind of credit.

He (Walker) is so talented. He is a heck of a player. You just imagine when he was really in his prime and healthy. You saw that all the time.
