Hmmm... I never get the answer I think I'm going to get.

Everywhere I go I'm asked if I think the university stifles writers. My opinion is that they don't stifle enough of them.

I always knew that it was going to be an uphill climb to replace Letterman from complete obscurity with no experience, but I think I had to go through it to know exactly what a titanic effort that was going to be.

I'm still a size 10, but it's the toning that's getting me down, and I think it can only get more difficult as I get older. Either one gets very thin and scrawny, or one puts on poundage; I'm definitely not going to pile on the pounds, so I can expect to end up scrawny.

I think that's what helped us: confidence, respect, the desire to work hard.

I think twerking is overrated.
