Hockey is a game where intimidation is still a part of the game, and you'll go to great lengths to try to win a game. If you know a player has an injury or weakness, he becomes vulnerable. He becomes targeted.

You have to fine-tune. We try to go into each game and say, 'Here's a focal point.' We want to make sure going in that things are right.

He's just so calm for a rookie. You talk about players getting ready for a game, whether it's taping sticks or fixing their equipment. But he gets his mind ready. He prepares himself, and he's perfectly comfortable in those situations.

It's a beautiful building, and the game was very exciting. It was also a very knowledgable hockey crowd. And I believe that means good things in the future for this franchise.

He made an awful lot of good saves. That's one factor you can't control in a hockey game -- how the guy wearing the pads at the other end is going to play.

Hockey is a tough game.
