Honestly it's the kids that made us successful. They had a good outlook, and we made it fun.

Last year is behind us, and with this team being senior-dominated like it is, this is those kids' year. I'm the guy who's got to make sure they get there, and I still get excited about that. I couldn't keep doing this if I didn't.

Liberty Union gave us a close call. Our kids responded to the challenge.

There were about 15 other kids our age, and this park meant a lot to us. We remembered the fun and decided to do something special.

If we had the (kids with illness and injuries) with us, we'd feel pretty good about the weekend. It's going to limit us as to the points we can score.

That was a fun environment. It had to be a huge difference for us. The kids ... used that energy to try to ratchet up our intensity to keep our focus.
