Hopefully, through this group, a lot of residents will understand what we're looking at, what the constraints are and what the possibilities are.

Any community is faced, and has been faced for years, with the criticism that redevelopment takes place behind closed doors. It is the desire of the mayor and Somerville council to make this as public as they possibly can, so people can have some input.

This gives the community a shot in the arm. That's what redevelopment is all about.

I don't understand technology, and I'm very scared of it.

Last year, we just had a group of players who came together and played as a team. Hopefully, this year's team can do the same thing.

We see this as kind of a first step of bringing it to this joint group. And then we can ... go on to the respective governmental entities.
