How much cooler was Oz than seeing the little dude behind the curtain?

Is it like the Wizard of Oz? A guy behind the curtain with a megaphone or something?

I was surprised by how much I liked 'Hacksaw Ridge' and its depth.

If you know how much you've got, you probably haven't got much.

You never know how much time you have left.

I don't think it's a director's job to peek behind the curtain too much.
