How you adjust to [being swept] and how you come back from it is the important thing. I think this team has a lot of character and will respond the right way.

It was a huge win and I think the biggest win of our year, quite frankly. Wake Forest has a good team and this puts us in a good position in the league after going about a third of the way through.

Kudos to all the S.A.I.L. staff and volunteers who made the tournament run so smoothly.

Our captains have done a tremendous job of getting the players ready this year [and] showing the young players how to win and do things.

Those big-run innings are important to open up leads. We took advantage of our opportunities toward the end of the game and a couple of guys got clutch hits and we were able to have a four-run inning.

That's what happens when you put pressure on the other team. You see our coaches yelling at our players all of the time about giving us a hard 90 feet all of the way to the bag. When you do that, panic can set in when you have speed. When you have guys in the lineup that can run and you put the ball in play it can create things.
