Huntsville was a wonderful city to grow up in, and coming back home always means a lot to me.

It's great when you see people's lives change and go around the country and see the impact and God's love. Sometimes it just takes that song when people are ready to give it up.

God directed me to do for gospel music what I'd been doing for the secular music. I had no peace with the secular side; there was something else tugging at me.

I met the team in Minnesota. I pinch-hit against Eddie Guardado and struck out. We came back home and I got my first hit against Kenny Rogers. I got 50 at-bats [batting .260]. I was able to have my buddies from college come up and watch me that first month, so it was a pretty special time.

This is the home of the most vulnerable patients at Lakeside.

I kind of feel at home in Texas. I've had a solid year. To win another tournament would be great and to win another one would be fantastic.
