I-75 is considered the gateway to Florida. We hope to preserve the natural beauty of the corridor and make it look more attractive to those driving through the state.

The county can hire any registered engineer to conduct a speed survey. There many companies throughout the area qualified to do such a study.

Once we decide what the change will be, we will give the county a 14 day advance notice before the change is made. A letter is sent to county officials informing them of the change.

This investigation helps us determine at what speeds drivers are traveling on the road in question. If criteria are met, the speed limit will be changed.

It's not anything that's going to be built in the next five to 10 years.

They have enough peer pressure to deal with as it is. I hope everything is taken care of and they don't have to go through this again.
