The Hiawatha Water Trail Association looks forward to a continuing partnership with the park service and forest service as well as with the many other governmental entities, individuals and organizations that have encouraged, and joined in, developing the trail, ... Without these partnerships, the water trail cannot be a reality.

Instead of a man of peace and love, I have become a man of violence and revenge.

All the other chiefs and tribes have accepted the Great Law of Peace. They now live in peace with one another.
