I always wondered what hearing one's own obituary might sound like, and I sort of feel like I may have just heard part of it at least.

I feel like I'm in my own world: in the world but not a part of it.

People like hearing songs that sound like something they've heard before, that's reminiscent of their childhood and of what their parents listened to.

And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds.

It may sound funny, but it's true: I tried to put myself through the 12-step program. I didn't want to attend a real meeting; my role didn't really require that, and I feel those meetings are sort of sacred, and they're anonymous for a reason. I tried to deal with some of my love of snacks - and I relapsed a lot.
