I always wondered, why is hearing voices in your head a sign of insanity? Isn't that exactly where you should hear them coming from? Now, if you started hearing voices in your feet, *then* I'd say you have serious problems.

Schizophrenia is hearing voices, not doing voices.

I lie on the floor, washed by nothing and hanging on. I cry at night. I am afraid of hearing voices, or a voice. I have come to the edge, of the land. I could get pushed over.

Think of playing an instrument. When first picking up a new piece of music, a musician hammers out the notes slowly and methodically to ensure that they have a firm grasp of what’s on the page. Once their performance is ironed out and accurate, the musician gently increases their tempo, expressing the notes as they are written on the page but at a faster speed.

The other option you have is to come to terms with this fucking life, as you call it, and put up with the suffering it involves. Put up with the suffering we all have to endure, always, to get through that and find and enjoy the happiness and joy that it brings us as well, in spite of our being alive.

I myself have suffered periodically from hearing voices at night when I'm trying to sleep.
