I am an Ohio native. Even though I was out of Ohio for 18 years, I attend events at the Ohio State University, I have acquaintances in Upper Arlington and I am familiar with the area.

Events like this are a lot of work. But it's all good for the community -- and that payoff is immeasurable.

This is good news because many of the past studies of the effect of aspirin in preventing cardiovascular events looked only at men, so physicians were reluctant to prescribe aspirin for women because there was little data.

Certainly, events like Miss America are valuable to the community. But overall, I think we've moved on.

I don't have a lot of moves left in me.
