I am incredibly proud of this team. This is one of the most gratifying years I've had. Not one of the most successful, but one of the most gratifying.

They're the tallest team in the state of Colorado in 4A.

It's probably more gratifying to them because of what they've been through, not that it's been their fault. I'm sure it was frustrating for them to go year after year and not be able to compete in the playoffs.

That's why I'm very proud not only of the way the team has responded, but Beltran, also.

We're a young team, and they're experienced and a good team. So I was really proud (of the win).

I'm not the only one hurting in (the locker room) when I talk to the team. Those guys are very, very disappointed. They realized what was at stake today in regard to the division, we had a chance to get evened up in the division with our NFC record, and the Reggie White scenario was huge for us. There was plenty of motivation.
