I am originally from Florida. So Thanksgiving was always something I really looked forward to, because I got to travel back home every year and see everyone all at once, around one big happy table.

Homemade stuffing is my favorite thing about Thanksgiving. I wish people served it more than just once a year.

There are times I am happy. There are times I am sad. But I always try to separate emotion from the need to reach for something stronger, deeper. And then no matter the emotion, I can reach for a stability that helps me accomplish what is the goal.

If people are looking forward to my films, then I am happy, and I must be doing something right.

I loved Peg Bundy. I am so happy that I got to do that. It was really fun.
