I am quite short, but that never comes across when I'm onstage in front of people. When I get offstage and greet an audience afterwards, their first reaction is to comment on my height because it seems like a very drastic difference.

The one thing I've always done, because I like the sound of my guitar from where I sit - meaning not in front of it - so what I do is, I put microphones around my ears. I have them around my head, too. I don't know if it's a superstitious thing, but it's actually how I recorded my first album.

I quite like being who I am.

I am very short-sighted, and if I don't like a situation I take my glasses off.

I'm very self conscious in a bikini, and I would never get my tummy out onstage.

I have found that I get a better reaction from people once I am less bothered about their reaction.
