I am really happy with the school, and the teachers are doing a great job. I just want (the district) to plan better for next year.

You're talking this many forms per child, and the teachers are so stressed out and bogged down with it that you are taking time away from the child. We showed (the new system) to the area supervisors and they were just amazed at what the program could do.

(The academy) offers brand new teachers the support they need to get through that very difficult first year. It is a brand new experience and most of what you learn in college is straight from a book. That (classroom) experience is really quite different.

I learned life from some good teachers.

I was always the kid in school that teachers were getting after to be quiet. My report card had math, A, reading, A, spelling, A, science, A, conduct, F. I was always talking to somebody. They would always take me and put me over in a corner by myself.

My English teacher has no face. She has uncombed stringy hair that droops on her shoulders. The hair is black from her part to her ears and then neon orange to the frizzy ends. I can't decide if she had pissed off her hairdresser or is morphing into a monarch butterfly. I call her Hairwoman.
