I am so proud of Michigan's citizens for the kindness and generosity they have shown in assisting in this endeavor, ... It is truly heartwarming to see the compassion shown for those in need.

What a tremendous act of generosity on the part of the donors who made this possible and what a tremendous opportunity for all these children in Kalamazoo public schools who can now go to college and chase their dreams.

As we enter into our third year supporting the Make-A-Wish Foundation, I am confident the kindness and generosity of our children, parents and staff will continue to grow. At the rate we're going, I see no reason why we can't make our goal of raising $10 million by 2010.
