I am very concerned and hope people don't drink and drive this holiday season because I don't want another family to have to go through what we've gone through.

Sam has some improvement. He has numerous broken bones and several facial lacerations and a brain injury.

We?re dreaming of the day Sam opens his eyes.

He'll squeeze our hands and he'll respond some and really we just holding on and hoping he gets better. We aren't focusing on how bad he is, we focusing on his recovery.

I hope that people see me and see a different skater. But it's not bad being compared to the Olympic gold medalist, and it's nice having her in the family.
