I anticipate the starter going five or six, and Gil going two or three. When he gets through that, we'll look at putting him in the rotation.

They pitched extremely well; at least three of them did. When we got to them, it was because they lost control.

He kept the ball down, and when he elevated his pitches, he intended to. His last four or five outings, each one has been better than the other, and this one was the best of them all. If he hadn't gotten into some trouble in the eighth, he probably would have pitched a complete game.

We didn't know we could get three innings out of him. We sent him out there to get two. But he did so well and had such a low pitch count we sent him back for the third inning.

That was big. Sherrill gets a big strikeout against a very good hitter and then Mateo gets one of the most dangerous hitters in baseball in a situation like that.
