I approach spring training the same way every year.

I've always approached spring training as I have something to prove.

Everett made some adjustments during Spring Training. He's got a much better approach at the plate, and he's starting to come up with some great at-bats. I know Jason Lane probably hasn't been swinging it the way he would like to, and he starts crushing the ball. Hitting is contagious; there's no doubt about it.

It all comes down to when spring training comes. Do you want to go or don't you? If you want to go, you go.

Spring Training is a fun time for me.
