I believe ... that the soul of Man is immortal and will be treated with justice in another life respecting its conduct in this.

In this world, nothing is certain but death and taxes.

Words may show a man's wit but actions his meaning.

Without justice, courage is weak.

Fear not Death; for the sooner we die, the longer shall we be immortal.

I would love to believe that when I die I will live again, that some thinking, feeling, remembering part of me will continue. But as much as I want to believe that, and despite the ancient and worldwide cultural traditions that assert an afterlife, I know of nothing to suggest that it is more than wishful thinking.
