I believe in limited government. I know what the welfare state has done to the black community.

I am a pro-growth, constitutional, limited government conservative. So I'm going to speak out for what I believe in - the kind of inclusive, aspirational, optimistic politics which unites people.

I do believe in God. I don't believe in God as a person, but I believe in God as a state of energy and consciousness that we all share.

Because of my upbringing, I believe in things like limited government, fiscal responsibility and personal accountability. I believe in the wisdom of our founders and the sanctity of our Constitution.

I don't believe in welfare.

There are people who believe in expanding the welfare state across the spectrum of races and ethnicities and creeds.
