I believe some of those schools could take some of the kids away from the outlying schools, ... Because of the growth, it's inevitable that the boundaries are going to have to be adjusted. That or build.

It's not uncommon for private schools across the nation to hold kids back for a year, normally in the intermediate age, ... It's for academic reasons, emotional, physical reasons, to fully develop the child. It wasn't to gain an athletic advantage. It was to develop the study habits to succeed in college.

This is great. We've always felt that it's a logical progression from our schools to DSA.

Now, there's absolutely no denying the need for a greater investment in public schools.

I've asked for an evaluation of all programs funded through the (federal Office of) Safe and Drug-Free Schools. I've also asked the staff to take a hard look at what are other options, especially those that have a strong scientific research base.
