I believe they arrested him first thing this morning. The homicide team arrested him after they interviewed him.

Mr. Secretary, if the nursing home owners are arrested for negligent homicide, why shouldn't you also be arrested for negligent homicide?

Sometimes the emergency is such that the person can't leave their home ... to get any type of help. It's definitely critical and I know everybody is working on it to get the lines up and running.

Right now we're getting the word out through the radio stations and of course we're sending an advisory to the television stations as well because all the 249 and 868 prefixes are affected. That basically covers Wrightwood, Phelan and Pinion Hills. Cell phones are also affected.

The call came in as a man reporting an accidental shooting and apparently when deputies went on scene there must have been something suspicious about it because they determined it was not an accident and they called homicide and now the guy is in custody.
