I came here [in February] because I thought I could make the team. There's been some tough competition, but I feel like I've held my own in all areas, including special teams.

This is such a good competition because it places emphasis more on academics rather than looks. It really is a more level playing field because of that.

In this type of competition you only get to see a small portion of what the judges are judging on, ... When they started announcing the runners-up they got all the way from fourth-runner-up to first and Caylee's name still hadn't been called. I really started to think that she hadn't placed.

It's been a pretty good preseason, ... Now I just want to finish it off right.

I want to see Coach Ditka [in the Hall]. It's easy to see what he means around here. He's definitely a legend.

It was a good test against good competition to see where we're at, and I thought we came out and looked pretty seasoned. I was really happy with the way we were able to move the ball. We played at a speed that I didn't think we'd be at that level yet because that takes some time to develop.
