I can't work places like Vegas or the Catskills where people are belching. Maybe I belong in colleges. At least if I die, I die in front of intelligent people who know what I'm talking about.

The budget problem we can deal with, but let's get people in Michigan back to work. Having someone who understands the realities of business sitting in the governor's chair would make a big difference.

That doesn't help anybody. It certainly doesn't help the people who work for these businesses.

It makes me feel incredibly lucky to know and work with people all of these years. This (party) was not my idea, but I'm sure glad it happened.

I think of my relationship with any audience as a love affair. It lasts only a little while but I always look forward to a happy ending. For both of us.

Just as our view of work affects our real experience of it, so too does our view of leisure. If our mindset conceives of free time, hobby time, or family time as non-productive, then we will, in fact, make it a waste of time.
