I come from a sprint-car background where the cars weigh about 1,200 pounds and have about 850 horsepower, so this car has less horsepower and weighs three times as much, so it's a big difference to me.

[Bill Elliott] just tells me a lot of different things about the car,

He doesn't weigh but 96 pounds. Even though he went 4-4 he didn't give up in any match.

To get the cars all equal, they have to weigh the same. Now the cars are all within 5-10 pounds, and that's pretty good. I believe we are over the hump, and by [this] evening, you'll see a darn good race. We'll have some passing.

Coyotes are supposed to weigh under 30 pounds, ... We have some very large ones 45 pounds and over.

The midget has such a short wheelbase and it is such a momentum car. I'll get out of the sprint car some nights and get into the midget and it feels like something is loose on the midget because it wants to twitch all over. It is fun to test how adaptable you are in a race car from one to the next.
