I continually stress to my players that all I expect from them at practice and in the games is their maximum effort.

I feel that I make an honest living. I take care of my children. I feel that there should be something for me.

Be true to yourself, help others, make each day your masterpiece, make friendship a fine art, drink deeply from good books – especially the Bible, build a shelter against a rainy day, give thanks for your blessings and pray for guidance every day.

Be more concerned with your character than with your reputation. Your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.

If you get caught up in things over which you have no control, it will adversely affect those things over which you have control.

(My priorities are) family, Lord, profession, ... And that's not the order it should be, but I think No. 2 understands.
