I could sense in the dugout when they took the lead, there was a lot of chatter. 'Hey, we've got to get something going.

There was no panic in the dugout (when the Yankees took a 4-0 lead in the third). I said last year that the makeup of this team was tremendous. We have basically the same players with a couple of additions. They bounce back pretty well. Just because we got beat up in one game doesn't mean they're going to fold up.

All you can say is, 'Hey, it's one of those years where nothing's clicking.' If you're going to win, you can't have too many days of not clicking.

They both admit, hey, we've got to pick it up. But they're confident. I think both of them, they'll give us a good effort.

You've got a 4-1 lead, give it to guys like Jim Bunning, Bob Gibson or Dontrelle (Willis), you'll close them out.

That's tough when you get A.J. to pitch the way he did. They're all devastating. But we probably had more opportunities to score, and we didn't cash in.
