I desired to become a Christian, and prayed earnestly for the forgiveness of my sins. I felt a peace of mind resulting, and loved every one, feeling desirous that all should have their sins forgiven, and love Jesus as I did.

She forgave them, not because they had asked for forgiveness, since they did no such thing, nor because they deserved it, but because she deserved it. She deserved peace of mind.

A consecrated Christian life is ever shedding light and comfort and peace.

Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be.
And whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life,
keep peace in your soul.


With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

Of course, maintenance of peace of mind, at the maximum extent possible, would be the greatest success in a human life.

Peace is letting it be. Letting life flow, letting emotions flow through you.
