I do believe this program does help eliminate problems before they happen. We normally do this in the spring when we generally get most of our rain events.

Every year we go through all our storm sewer catch basins and vacuum out debris that is in there. We've been doing this for quite a few years.

They have donated up to $600 worth of donated time and materials to the township.

I have appropriated $20,000 to do this. There is no really knowing how long it will take or how much debris is in our storm systems. I hope we can get it done in the same time frame, but appropriated that amount just in case we couldn't.

We Africans have to be able to deal with our problems. Help from outside is alright, but we have to learn to be responsible for our own attitudes.

We want to be a district's partner and not just a vendor. We can better help them solve their problems if we are involved with them over years and really understand them.
