I do not come bearing a party label on my sleeve - or a quick fix in my back pocket. I do not come with a rigid ideology in my heart - or a soul that tells me to go it alone. I do not come to uproot tradition - or to be imprisoned by it.

I'm very comfortable with where history will judge me.

Debate is healthy and no one in this chamber - starting with me - has a monopoly on being right.

Those who expelled me from the party, they themselves don't belong to it. They don't believe in its ideology, they don't believe in Lord Ram. They want to tread the same path that we detested. They think that they would not get anything by devoting themselves to Lord Ram, but they'll definitely succeed by praising Jinnah.

For me to go casual is not to go simple. To me, it is to be able to bring back the art of tradition and the soul of French food and my interpretation of that.

I hope I never have to use it. But if I do, it may make the difference between life and death for me and my family.
