I don't devalue comedy as compared to drama. Not one bit.

I grew up wanting to make movies, and along the way I suddenly found that I had a career doing comedy.

We discovered that the series really wants to be a comedy more than a drama.

It is an amazing show. It's humorous, sad, everything. Full of comedy, it switches to drama, back and forth, just like real life. It's got the most realistic dialogue I've ever read.

For me, this show feels like the best in comedy and drama. What I responded to is it felt real, for lack of a better word. It felt like if you peeked over a fence in the backyard and watched your neighbors, this is what you would see.
